5 People I Treasure
Johnny
I love my husband but he is also my best friend and a wonderful father. I don’t know how I would manage the day in, day out of being a SAHM without his support. He is the person who makes me laugh at the end of the day. I love that he is as content with our life as I am. That an evening spent watching Modern Family and eating take out is just as perfect as a night out on the town. We have each other and our family and that’s enough. Besides without him I would not have the next little guy on my list.
Jackson
My son has changed my world in more ways than I can count. Watching him grow and learn and play are experiences that I truly treasure. He makes every day a little brighter, waking up at 6 am isn’t so bad when I see his smiling face. Even when I want to pull my hair out his laughter still brings a smile to my face. Jack has changed my life for the better and I look forward to all our adventures.
My Mom
My mom is my other best friend. Before I had Jack we would spend days shopping and getting lunch or splurging on pedicures. We cruised to Bermuda twice on a whim. Now that I have Jack our time together isn’t so extravagant but it is still wonderful. I love watching her be “mom-mom” to Jack.
My Dad
In many ways I’m still Daddy’s little girl. If I have a problem or am in need of advice I ask my Dad. Even John consults my Dad on all kinds of things. That’s just the type of guy my Dad is. He is also one of the smartest people I know. Need directions, ask Dad. Not sure what to do in a situation, ask Dad. And genorosity comes easy to my Dad. He will always help his family, friends or local charity. And Jack adores him. When his “Pop” walks in the room, he always has a big smile on his face.
Yes, I know he’s not a person, per say, but try telling that to this face.
He was John and I’s first baby. And for 4 years he was our only child. While I was pregnant he was always by my side and when John travels for work he is always ready to guard the house. He’s my fluffy companion and it’s hard to imagine life before Bailey puppy. Having him in our life really prepared us for having a baby. The time, commitment and love that you give a pet is so similar to that of a child. Once they are yours, they are yours for life. Pet’s like, babies trust you blindly and it is your job to live up to that trust. Bailey prepared me for a life of messes and picking up poop. But he also prepared me for unconditional love and devotion. Now tell me he ain’t peoples?

Sweet list! I feel the same way about my hubby. It's nice having someone you can be content with doing nothing at all. My Mom, Dad and my boys were also on my list. My hubby and my Mom are my best friends as well.
