Simply September

Have I mentioned that I love fall?

Since the calender changed a few weeks ago life seems to be full of new possibilities.

The humidity and the housing problem that dogged us all summer has finally lifted. The days are warm and breezy and in a few short days (!) we will be moving in to our new home.

So far every morning has been gorgeous ( I swear I’m not lying) and we have had the playground practically to ourselves.

Plus the pumpkin spice latte is back, it really doesn’t get much better than that.

Except maybe that I got to sneak a few hours to myself on the beach last week. It was glorious and something I’ve been trying to do for oh say the last 22 months.

The days have been a bit more leisurely lately. We’ve had time to shoot hoops and playing with side walk chalk.

So far fall has been good to us, how is it treating you?

Essence of Now

I love all of those pictures! I'm so excited for you guys and your new house, and the glorious weather. We've had glorious weather, too, and I LOVE IT. Fall is, by far, my favorite season, and it's not only because it's the season of my birthday. 🙂

I've been enjoying my daily cup or two of Pumpkin Spice coffee… that way it at least tastes like fall. We don't get much of one around here!!! Good luck with the move and your new home!!!

How can anything not be good if you get a trip to the beach?

It doesn't feel like fall here because it's still 95 degrees during the day, but I feel it coming and I am excited!

When I just had the 2 girls I would take them to our community pool every morning around 9 am, after breakfast (during the school year), I was usually the only one too. It was awesome because after 2 hours of the pool and then lunch, they both took very long naps.

I love having places to myself, he gets to run all over and tires himself out. I hope fall gets to you soon.
