Pumpkins

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend. It was fun to go back to a place that we went with Jack when he was younger. It is amazing the difference a year makes.

October 2012

This year we had a crop of friends with us. Some old, some new and some who ventured through the corn maze with us last year.

That’s the thing about having a kid, you suddenly find yourself doing things you would have never done on your own. My single self would have never been at the pumpkin patch at opening, if at all.

And yet I couldn’t think of a better way to spend our morning than with this group of friends and their kids.

I took lots of pictures, cause that’s just how I role.

I wanted to capture these moments. I want to show Jackson the places he went and the people he knew when he was too small to remember.

I want these friendships that I hope will last a lifetime to be captured.

I want to come back year after year and watch our little pumpkins grow.

    Oh, the fun!

I absolutely adore these kinds of traditions, and you're so right – how different our memories would be sans kids!

    Adorable photos, and family! 🙂

I love taking the kids to the pumpkin patch.

It's so cute to see the pictures from last year versus this year.

That second picture is just gorgeous. That's one of my favorite things to do in the fall, visiting the pumpkin patch!

That's a great tradition to start. And when you look back and see the changes it'll be a great memory to have. Love it. I need to get better (stupid cold) and take my kids to the pumpkin patch a.s.a.p!!! 🙂
