It’s been a good week and it feels good to say that because we haven’t had many of them lately. Usually I’m dragging myself through Friday anxiously awaiting my husband coming home from work and mentally punching my time card on another week.
But this week it feels like a change of perspective has made all the difference.
Jack has become interested in my camera and keeps asking, “Mama takie picture of Bailey” or “Mama takie picture of Mickey”
We finally got some snow and we went outside to play in it even if there wasn’t much to play with.
Yesterday Jack helped me make chili for dinner. He dumped the canned beans into the crock pot and then he surprised me by actually eating the chili for dinner.
We smiled and laughed and played and suddenly it was Friday, how did that happen?
Time flies when you’re having fun.

I find too that when I let my kids help in the preparation of meals they are more invested in it and tend to eat better. We had tons of people over yesterday for a Superbowl party, lots of kids, noise, and fun.

Yay! Glad you had a good week! Mine was horrible! I seriously need the sun and warmth to get here and the germs to go away. I am "stick a fork in me done!"

I hope everyone is feeling better and that you have been able to have some fun. Winter always feels way too long. He kept the shades on for less than a minute but still it was cute.
