School has been out for 3 weeks and all the worries I had about going it alone (without school or Mommy and Me classes) have mostly subsided.
And so far the summer has been surprisingly good. We’ve been just going with the flow and seeing what each day brings and so far it’s been all good.
We’ve been enjoying…
-Listening to The Never Land Pirates music
-play dough
-Making up words
-Trips to the local farmers markets
-Running in the yard with Bailey
-Riding his scooter in the driveway
– A trip to Sesame Place
-Dinners cooked on the grill
-Jersey Fresh Produce
-Exploring new places
-Later than usual bedtimes
-Lazy afternoons watching movies
-Books from the library
– Days at the beach
-Playing with our water table
-Going to the rides with Mom-Mom and Pop
-Swimming in Nana and Pop’s pool
-Being a bit spontaneous
-Hot Dogs from Lou Dogs in Sea Isle
-Riding our 4-wheeler
– Playing at our friends house
-Outside play dates
-Painting outside
-Trips to Starbucks
-Eating outside
-Making Popsicles
-Ice cream for dinner
-Saying “yes” more
-Letting go of the little things
-Snuggling, laughing, hugging and playing during these lazy hazy summer days. Here’s hoping that the rest of the summer stays this fun!

Me inspire?! Thanks Julia 🙂 Your summer sounds perfect! Really. I do remember how tiring and dare I say boring it can be when it seems you're doing the same dang thing day in and day out with the little ones. But you will look back at all these simple things and long for them. I bet you're little one is loving all the fun adventures of summer.
