I love Fall and all the things about this season; cooler weather, pumpkin everything, mums, boots, hoodies… I could go on and on about all the things I love about this great season.
I kicked off Fall on Sunday night with a vegetarian dinner on a farm. I had never had a 5 course vegetarian dinner before and I had never eaten on a farm both were amazing. The weather was gorgeous and the company was so nice and the conversation was good. It was the absolute perfect way to start the season.
On Monday it was opening night at one of our local farms. We took Jack to the farm for pumpkin picking, hayrides and corn mazes.
A trip to a farm is one of those things we’ve done every year with Jack. I love to look back at each year and see how he’s grown.
Little did I know there were rubber duck races, and pig races too. Jack could have raced ducks all day.
Looks like a fun day! Love the pictures of the pumpkins.
Yay for boot weather! I've got my eyes on a new pair …..
There is nothing like a new pair of boots, my absolute favorite type of shoes.
Looks like a fun day! My kid would love some rubber duck races! We're looking forward to some apple picking pretty soon.
I'm hoping we get some apple picking in this season, but the weather is not agreeing with us right now.
I like Fall, but I dread winter so my love for Fall is always tainted by that dread! We have had some great Fall weather here this past week. We have been playing plenty of football and have already been apple picking. I am slowly breaking out some fall clothes, but only slowly. I am going to miss my flip flops!
I dread winter too so Fall is always a bit bittersweet.
What a beautiful place, Julia! Happy Fall!
Thanks Alison!
How fun! I'll take any excuse to break out the boots, but this was the perfect day for them!
I agree about any excuse to break out boots.
Boots? Yes! I'm looking forward to them. But a five-course vegetarian dinner? I didn't know there were that many kinds of vegetables out there. 😉
It was a mix of things like a salad, soup and then the entre had rice with it. I'm not a huge veggie eater but it was all so good.
That five-course vegetarian meal sounds pretty amazing, Julia.
We've been taking my kids to the pumpkin patch every year since my daughter was three. She's eight now, and I love looking back at the photos from over the years.
Looking back over the pictures is so fun, I love watching them grow.
The vegetarian banquet sounds intriguing! Loved the rubber duck races…how cute! It's not quite cool enough for boots where I live, but we're getting there. Enjoyed the photos 🙂
The veggie dinner was so good!
