I haven’t blogged in awhile so to help me ease back in and because I’m working my way threw a pile of Disney pictures and have about 5 unfinished posts that I’m working on, I thought I would go with something simple.
10 Things to Smile About – October
1). The reopening of our local Children’s Museum. We never got to the old location but the new space is in the mall and perfect for Jackson.
2). Meeting Gaston with my Mom in Disney. Yes, we are adults meeting to a character in Disney World but he was so handsome and funny and he’s Gaston, need I say more?
3). All things pumpkin. October is the month of one of my favorite flavors and I’ve been cooking up pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pasta and pumpkin soup…yum!
4). This conversation between Jack and his friend
S: Did you have fun in Disney World
J: I did!
S: Did you see Mickey Mouse?
J: I did!
S: And Daisy and Donald Duck!?!
Such serious cuteness
5). The look on Jack’s face when I picked him up from his preschool Halloween party. He was bursting with excitement.
6). The view of Cinderella Castle gets me every time.
7). My friends Halloween party that was a perfect combo of adult fun and kid fun.
8). Marking the 1 year anniversary of being in our home. It’s been such a great year, I love our neighborhood so much and while we struggled with where to buy a house I know with out a doubt we made the right decision.
9). My little Pirate. This is the first year I’ve gotten a decent picture of Jack in his Halloween costume and it isn’t even Halloween yet.
10). Good books and good friends. We started a book club 18 months ago and in the past few months it feels like it’s coming together. This months meeting and book was great. I love getting to chat it up with these gals every month.
So what has made you smile this month?

So awesome to have a good book club. I was part of one one but the book selections every month were often so boring self-help books. Those are good every once in a while, but all of the time! No thank you. I have all of the Beauty and the Beast songs stuck in my head now thanks to that picture 😉 What an adorable pirate you have.
Thank you so much for linking up.

Oh, how I envy you a great book club! There are few things that are better than that. It sounds like Disney was an amazing trip, and I'm so glad you love where you bought a house. We moved earlier this year (yet again) and it is so tough to find the "right" place.
Sounds like your month was great!

Oh my gosh, he is SO cute in his costume! I am excited to see more about your Disney trip. That pic of you and your Mom with Gaston is great! 😀
