11 Facts and Questions

My new friend Allison selected me to answer 11 questions and provide 11 random facts, and I obliged because I’m fun like that. 


11 Random Facts

• I don’t really have a favorite color, I generally like all colors. But I do tend to buy lots of black and grey. 
• For about 2 years I drove a big pick up truck and for once in my life didn’t feel so small. 
• I’m 5’0″ on a good day. 
• I was always afraid that having kids would change me, now that I have one I know that it did and it didn’t. 
• Some days I have to remind myself that I’m 32, not 22. 
• When I started blogging about motherhood I swore I was the only person who had come up with the idea to start a mommy blog, I was so wrong!
• Most of my life I have refused to eat green veggies, though now I do eat some greens. 
• I wasn’t allowed to take Home Ec in High School and therefore I can’t sew or knit. But I’m always trying to learn. 
• My 3 favorite places in the world (so far) Aruba, Key West and Disney World. 
• I never have just one window open on my computer. 
• I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. 

11 Questions 

1.  What would you do with a day to yourself?

Go shopping, eat a leisurely lunch, try to catch up with one of my friends for drinks or coffee. Maybe see a movie with the hubby. 

2.  What is your favorite season?

Fall or Summer

3.  If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?

Right where I am is wonderful because I love my home and my neighborhood and our friends. But ideally I would love to live in Key West some day. 

4.  Favorite beverage (alcoholic or non).

I don’t drink soda or juice, so probably water and wine. But I do make a damn good Pina Colada.

5.  Do you prefer text, email or the good old fashioned phone call?

I like texts and emails cause it’s nearly impossible to talk on the phone with a toddler around. But I do miss the days when I would stay on the phone for hours with my friends. 

6.  Do you have any pets?  If so, what kind?

I have a dog named Bailey, he was our first baby.

7.  What is your least favorite house chore?

Vacuuming and cleaning the shower. 

8.  What makes you laugh?

Jackson always makes me laugh because a 3 year-old is just too funny.

9.  Favorite sound.

The sound of a wine bottle being uncorked, lol. 

10.  What food could you live off forever?

Pasta, one food so many wonderful ways to eat it. 

11.  What would you do if you won the lottery?

Go on a lavish vacation and hire someone to do the vacuuming and shower cleaning : )
