This is my 3rd post in my year in review series covering July through December.
July
In July I turned 32, which I wrote about in song form and is one of my favorite posts. I also shared a few glimpses of what our summer was like. It was filled with country concerts, drinks with neighbors and lots and lots of time outside.
We had no plans for the summer and it was best that way, even if there were times that I ended up yelling. I did some Old School Blogging and shared my fives.
I shared what was good in life at the moment, in a post inspired by a Snoop Dogg song. I also wrote about where I grew up, in Life on a Rock which the title comes from a Kenny Chesney song ( see how musically diverse I am). And then I wrote a post with another song title and shared a Pina Colada recipe.
We spent a lot of time at the local playgrounds, exploring and playing. By the end of the month I was really, really over summer.
September was a return to school and to all things pumpkin. It is one of my favorite months of the year because life returns to it’s rhythm.
I wrote about a question that was on Jack’s preschool paperwork. And I got a bit sentimental about a rocking chair.
In October I taught you about a new use for Red Solo Cups and introduced you to my 5 favorite blogs.
October was a tough month and filled with some really trying days.
November
November is a busy month for us and will always be a busy month because of Jack’s birthday being so close to Thanksgiving, so I didn’t write much in November.
I did share why we keep going back to Disney World and yes we are going again soon. I also wrote about how I’m not a runner anymore, which was hard for me to admit.
Jack turned 3 in November and it took me till December to accept it and write a post about it. I shared my tips for decorating a Christmas Tree with kids. My favorite post of the month was one I wrote about my friend who was having her first baby. I also started these year in review posts so you can read part 1 and part 2. We filled December with lots of holiday fun including a trip to Dutch Wonderland, our annual Christmas light walk in the neighborhood, lots of parties and some Christmas crafting.

Yea Glad you recapped the last months. Love your turning 32- now you just need a vide of you singing it 🙂 It does feel so good when they finally get potty trained. We got there with my youngest this year too, such a huge relief.. though we are still 99% ourselves… maybe even 97%
