Friday morning Blogger Bash, started with the Lego Batman Breakfast. We got a chance to play the new Lego Batman game and were treated to a great stand-up routine by Dena of One Funny Mother.
After breakfast Jess and I roamed the halls and while we waited for the media panel we took that time to check out the MZ Wallace purses and get a picture with Snoopy. Did you know A Charlie Brown Christmas is celebrating 50 years on TV?
During the Media Panel I heard one of my favorite quotes of the day that “social media is really creative writing”. As someone with an underused English degree this really resonated with me, maybe I have found a way to put that degree to work.
Johnny Rockets provided lunch and the chance to make your own milkshake which was definitely the highlight of lunch for me. Who needs lunch when you have a make your own milkshake?
Babypalooza showcased lots of great baby products, which I don’t need but where fun to look at, one stroller from Joovy was so pretty that it made me want another. Stroller, not baby that is.
The afternoon wrapped up with not one but two fun events. The EA Events Social Suite where we were treated to cover girl lip gloss, make-up touch ups and manicures. Joseph Nogucci had their newest jewelry collection on display. His bracelets are seriously beautiful.
We also got a chance to check out the Wubble Bubble Ball, this ball is incredible it starts out very thick but once blown up it’s like a bubble. You can even sit on it as, Jess so elegantly displayed.
The 3 moms wrap party featured a very hot fire fighter and some great drinks. I got myself a momarita and could not have been happier just to enjoy the fire fighter, I mean party.
Blogger Bash ended with the Kidz Vuz Back to School party. Jessica and I showed off our best back to school looks from Lands End, or as we like to call it “Do You Want to Build a Snowman”.
There was so much kids fun at the party including meet and greets from WWE stars. The kids appeared to be having a blast and to be honest I was starting to miss my own, so I cut out for a few minutes to call John and Jack.
Not only was a Blogger Bash an awesome experience but I got to share it with some amazing friends and meet some new ones. Jenn, Jersey Family Fun; Karen, A Magical Mommy; and Jess, Mommy University and fellow Jersey Family Fun girl where my roomies for the event and kept me having fun, laughing and from not having a panic attack. Even though there were a few close calls when we got lost in Brooklyn. (Jersey girls be like “are we in New York?!”).
Blogger Bash was also the first time that someone recognized me from the blog. I sat down in the Media panel and the woman next to me said, I know who you are, you’re Wine in Mom I saw the Facebook picture you posted this morning. That was kind of awesome.
Blogger Bash was big enough to meet and network with brands and bloggers but small enough to allow you to never feel overwhelmed or alone. I always knew that if I lost my crew that if I stood in one spot for a minute or two I would find them or another friend to chat with.
Thank you for all that made Blogger Bash a reality: Joey, Charlene and Stephanie you ladies out did yourself and hustled and worked it like only moms know how to. You gals rock.
