The Office Great Beer and Good Food

I received a complimentary dinner at The Office through the travel campaign with New Creative Media. All opinions expressed are 100% my own and my family’s. Any additional expenses incurred were my own.

We visited The Office in Morristown after a long day of shopping. I wasn’t much in the mood for a big fancy meal, I wanted great food with a fun atmosphere and The Office definitely delivered.

The atmosphere is fun and fresh as I heard from a friend that The Office had recently undergone an entire renovation. The paintings on the wall were colorful, fun and inviting. Nothing uptight or stuffy about the place.

The bar is the centerpiece of the restaurant and extends to the second floor. It was definitely the first thing that caught my eye and I couldn’t wait to sample some of it’s offerings.

The restaurant was crowded and a little bit noisy which was perfect for our crowd that consisted of kids. Never once did I worry that our group was too loud for the restaurant. We were seated at a large table at the back of the restaurant which was the perfect spot for our large crowd, and the corner table gave us the impression of having some privacy in the crowded restaurant.

I had heard that The Office was known for it’s beer and I can see why, the menu offered 3 different beer flights, each with a different theme. Being the Jersey loving girl that I am, I had to go with the Keeping It Jersey Beer Flight. The Flight included Carton Boat Beer – Session, Kane Head High – IPA, Riverhorse – Summer Blond Ale,and Bolero Snort – No Rye-ing in Baseball. We all commented on how much beer we recieved for the small price tag.

I was surprised that I liked all of the beers and I think I picked the perfect flight for me as most of them were not dark beers which aren’t really my thing.
For dinner I kept it on the lighter side and when with the Tuna Tartar, which is a dish that I seem to try everywhere I eat because it’s light filling and absolutely delicious. The Offices Tuna Tartar lived up to my expectations the avocado that held it together was rich and creamy and the tuna was fresh and delicious. I could have done without the arugula on top but otherwise it was excellent.

The menu at The Office offers great food at a reasonable price and the menu is full of variety. Next time I go back I plan on trying the Chicken and Waffles which a few people in my group ordered, it looked delicious.

The Office is located in downtown Morristown, near The Green which is an area in the town center that features lots of shopping and dining options. The downtown area is very beautiful and definitely the type of place I can see my husband and I enjoying. On my next visit to Morristown I will definitely be making more time to visit the downtown area.

Look like a cool place. I know a lot of people that would go for the chicken and waffles alone!
