Sweet Suite Box of Awesome

Sweet Suite itself was an awesome event but I have to say I was more than a little excited when a week after Sweet Suite, the box of awesome arrived at my door. I actually was so excited about it’s pending arrival that I had my neighbor on the lookout for it, as it showed up while I was at work and I didn’t want Jack to see it.

The Sweet Suite box was like Christmas morning except that the only person opening it was me and that no one was trying to tear apart the toys. Well the husband did get a little handsy with some of the stuff and I had to tell him to back off, the box was all mine.

For starters the box was filled to the brim and even had some sweet stuff like lemon heads right on top. The hubs immediately grabbed those up. What can I say his favorite things I brought back from Sweet Suite were the candy and a notebook, he’s got old school taste.
Here are some of my favorite highlights from the box.
I found out at Sweet Suite that Elf Magic would be in the box and I was a little excited. One because I’ve been walking the to Elf or not to Elf line for sometime and two because this Elf isn’t like the other Elf. He’s cute, cuddly, touchable and doesn’t report back to Santa. I’m looking forward to having a little fun with him this holiday season
Bananagrams Wild Tiles
I was excited by this game at Sweet Suite cause the hubs and I love to play board games but most aren’t 2 players. Banangrams Wild Tiles is for 2 – 8 players and makes for a fun date night game. I’ll have a full review coming soon.
I know I mentioned the TMNT Half-Shell Hero’s in my Sweet Suite Recap post, how could I not they are adorable and take me back to being a kid when I desperately wanted to be April O’Neil. I love this little guy that came in the box and I immediately hid him away for Christmas. I’m hoping to see more of these in stores soon because I think Santa wants to put them under the tree.

While Jack is a little young for Skylanders, his best buddy who is a little older is a Skylanders fan. I love how the Skylanders game is the type that kids can buy add on pieces and figures for, because it makes it easy for an Aunt like me to pick out a new game or figure to add to their gaming collection.

There was a fairy wand at the top of the box from Just Pretend Kids and John picked it up and said this would be perfect for our niece. Well I was thinking it would be perfect for me but I can definitely think of a little girl in our life who will love this adorable wand. All of Just Pretend Kids dress up clothes are so adorable that I want to pick some up for all the little girls in my life.

Creativity Can by Faber-Castell is an awesome idea, especially for Moms like me who aren’t crafty but have a kid who loves to craft. I love that these cans have all kinds of fun things to help spark kids imaginations. They also make a great stocking stuffer or rainy day activity. I love to keep toys like this around to zap boredom.

I’m also excited about the art supplies from Faber-Castell. I love the quality of these supplies and the way they remind me of the art supplies we used when I was in elementary school. I’m kinda excited to try out these beeswax crayons.

Before kids we used to host a monthly game night with our friends. Since most of us have kids now these game nights don’t happen as often, though with the little ones getting older we have been able to break out our games from time to time. And our game supply was in need of a total overhaul. I’m excited to try out these new games and maybe revive game night.

A big thank you to The Big Toy Book for providing this Sweet Suite box of awesome.
In full disclosure I received these toys as a part of attending Sweet Suite 2014 in NYC on July 17th. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
