The other day I gave Jack my old point and shoot camera at the beach. It was something I had been meaning to do for awhile. Jack loves taking pictures on his Leappad but I really wanted him to have something more accessible and that I wouldn’t care too much about if it broke.
So after reading my friend Rachel’s post about seeing things through her kids eyes. I slipped the camera in my beach bag on the way out the door.
At the beach as I was snapping away on my phone, I remembered the camera. I gave it to Jack and off he went snapping pictures of his beach toys, “because we need a good shot for Miss Jenn” my editor at Jersey Family Fun.
I loved watching him take the pictures. How he composed his beach toys. What he thought was worth capturing and what wasn’t. I love the world through his eyes.
He is adorable & a fantastic photographer! We haven't been to the beach all summer, so it was so fun looking at all of your beach pictures! Thank you so much for joining in on this week's link up. I can't wait to see what you snap pictures of for next week!
Adorable! I can't believe summer is coming to an end. We have to squeeze in a few more beach trips!
That is really adorable. TJ likes taking selfies but has never really tried to take regular pics. Maybe need to give him one of the old cameras too…
Love it! I forgot about the camera on the Leappad. It's so fun to see the world through our kids' eyes.
Oh, so cute! My 5 yo loves taking pictures with his fisher price camera, but the pictures are so blurry!
Aw, so cute! And I love that he took pictures of all of his toys…it's what's important to him, right? And his mama. 🙂
Precious! I love seeing what my kids like to take pictures of (usually when they nab my phone and I end up with like 100 random pictures/selfies). I especially like the shot of the beach toys. So colorful!
