Halloween 2014

I’m a bit late getting these up here, especially since my son is already to move on to Christmas (Thanksgiving, who?). But I wanted to share some of our fun Halloween pictures because it’s a bit of a rarity that I get a good Halloween picture of Jackson.

The first 2 years I completely forgot to take a picture before the holiday and then the day of he was just not having it. Last year I did manage to get some good ones. But this year I really feel like the fun of the holiday is real to him and that he really is old enough to enjoy it.

Halloween Parade at School

This was the first year that we carved pumpkins. We carved them at our neighbors house and I was reminded why we haven’t done this before, pumpkin carving is messy and takes awhile but they kids had fun. Even though Jack was sad that his pumpkin wasn’t scary enough.

This year John and I dressed up again. I love dressing up for Halloween, I love getting to play pretend even if it’s just for the night.

We trick or treated with our neighbors and then headed down to their house for a Halloween Party that may have involved one too many of these lovely things.
