This is not a sponsored post. I helped plan portions of this event and the museum is one of Jackson’s favorite places to visit.
We all know that Mother’s Day, doesn’t always go the way we want. That many of us spend the day just like we would any other day: doing laundry, taking care of the kids, cooking and possibly evening hosting our Mother-In-Law. In an attempt to soften the blow of a possibly lackluster Mother’s Day, a few years ago a couple of friends and I had a girl’s night out the Saturday before Mother’s Day. It was really great to eat a relaxing meal, have a few glasses of wine and enjoy some uninterrupted conversation.
This year the Jersey Shore Children’s Museum is hosting a pre- Mother’s Day Ladies Night Out Vendor Fair and Wine Tasting on Friday May 8th from 6 – 9 pm at the Trinity Greek Church in Egg Harbor Township. The Ladies Night will include raffles, entertainment, product demonstrations and my personal favorite, wine tasting.
Vendors that will be on hand include:
- Thirty-One
- Tupperware
- Tastefully Simple
- Wild Tree
- Jamberry
- Always Smiling Picture Frames
- Silpada
- And many, many more!
If you are not familiar with the museum it is located on the second floor of the Hamilton Mall, near the Sears entrance. The Museum features 2 floors of fun play areas including a grocery store, construction site and doctors office. The Hamilton Mall has been the museum’s temporary home for almost 2 years and the funds that they raise go towards the Museum getting a bigger and more permanent home.
The Jersey Shore Children’s Museum is one of a kind in Atlantic County. And if you live in this area you know that there aren’t many year round play places in Atlantic and Cape May County. I love that the Jersey Shore Children’s Museum is open daily and you don’t need to visit during special open play times. The museum also hosts events such as career day and story times and is a great spot for your next birthday party.
Ladies Night Out takes place this Friday from 6 – 8 PM at Trinity Greek Church, 7004 Ridge Ave in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
