About a month ago, John told me that I had to try Lay’s Wasabi-Ginger chips. I wasn’t too into the idea. Wasabi and ginger go with fish not on potato’s right? Well I was wrong because wasabi and ginger go great on potato chips and on fish. And when you combine the two together you get a pretty fantastic dinner that makes wasabi-ginger potato chips way more than a snack food.
Wasabi Ginger Potato Chip Encrusted Tilapia
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon wasabi (more if you like it spicier)
8 oz Lay’s Wasabi Ginger Potato Chips crushed
2 Tilapia Filets
Preheat oven to 400
1. Combine mayonnaise and wasabi in a small bowl.
2. Coat the top each filet in the wasabi mayonnaise
3. Press the top of each filet into the crushed potato chips
4. Bake for 15 minutes for thicker filets increase time to 20 minutes.
