Today my friend Reesa, Momma Lew, is sharing her recipe for an Arnold Palmer Shandy, a perfect treat for this weekend.
With Father’s Day this weekend, you might be searching for the perfect drink to enjoy at your BBQ. Shandy’s are usually a mix of beer and lemonade, but with the current trend of Arnold Palmer’s, I thought it would make the perfect mixture for this Shandy recipe! It’s the perfect recipe for dad to enjoy since it mixes his favorite beer and gives it a refreshing twist.
Once you enjoy this Arnold Palmer Shandy, you will find it to be your go-to summer drink. There’s something about drinking it that makes you want to slow down and take all of summer in – the kids playing, the longer days, the warm nights.
You could really shake this recipe up by making it only with your favorite lemonade recipe or switch it up with lemon-lime club soda or ginger ale (aka: a Radler). Citrus and beer go hand in hand, so be creative.
Arnold Palmer Shandy
- 4oz. pale ale
- 4oz. Arnold Palmer
- Lemon or Lime for garnish
- Add Arnold Palmer to a chilled pilsner glass,
- Float the ale on top
After fumbling through the first few years of motherhood, Reesa found it her passion to enlighten fellow parents on how to take time to enjoy their lives and take the stress out of parenthood.
