It’s strawberry season here in New Jersey and it’s a very short season, just about 3 weeks. Which means we have to squeeze as much enjoyment out of those berries as we can. Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits and they are so versatile and work well in a variety of recipes from desserts to salads to my personal favorite cocktails. Here are a few of my favorite cocktails featuring strawberries.
Strawberry Rhubarb Hibiscus Mocktail – while this recipe is listed as a mocktail it can easily be transformed into a cocktail by adding your favorite spirit.
Strawberry White Wine Slush – I love this summer spin on white wine and it’s the perfect way to use up a bottle of wine that you might have leftover in the fridge (not that that happens often).
Strawberry Sangria – A yummy Sangria with Moscato.
Strawberry Basil Sangria – My own red wine sangria with strawberries and basil.
