One of the best decisions I’ve made since becoming a Mom, was joining my local MOMS Club. I joined when Jack was 3 and I find myself often wondering, why didn’t I join sooner? The club has offered me friendship, support and memories that I otherwise would not have had. With over 50 members in our club we can’t all be at every event but we do love to share the fun memories we’ve made in our Facebook group and through our club scrapbook. One of the problems we run into as Moms is having the time to take pictures and the time to get them off our phones and on display in our home. It involves a lot of asking who has pictures from this event and often with so many little kids Moms don’t always have time to capture all the fun.
On Friday we had our annual trunk or treat, it is one of our biggest events of the year. It was my first trunk or treat event, we met at a local park and each family decorated their vehicle and had candy to hand out to the kids, as the kids trick or treated from car to car. We also set up a dessert table for the kids to snack prior while the parents decorated the cars.
I had learned about the HP Social Media Snapshots over the summer at the HP My Printly event. I was really impressed with the ease of use and the quality of the pictures that the HP Envy printer produces. I also liked that the Social Media Snapshots have a sticky backing which means that you can stick them in fun and creative places. I had a feeling that this printer would be a fun addition to our annual Moms Club Trunk or Treat event.
I let the Moms know that I would have the printer set up at my car and that they could stop by and print out snap shots of their kids. I also tried to take as many pictures of the kids that visited my car as I could. As pictures were printed out, I stuck the pictures to the trunk of my car so that other kids and Moms could see all the fun memories. The HP Social Media Snap Shots app made printing and editing the photos easy.
The moms at the trunk or treat were impressed with the ease of use of the HP Envy Printer. They liked how easy it was to set up and that up to 5 devices could connect to it wirelessly, which meant that they were able to print photos directly from their phone using the HP Social Media Snapshots App. Moms also liked that there were several different framing options to choose from and that you could add your own caption. We loved the old school instant photo style of the pictures.
At the event we discussed ways that we can further utilize HP Social Media Snapshots into our clubs events and it’s likely that the printer will be at our Holiday Party. The sticky backing on HP Social Media Snapshots means it’s easy to find fun ways to show off our memories. Some ways we thought up were making holiday photo ornaments, to use in homemade picture frames.
My favorite part about the HP Envy printer and HP Social Media Snapshots was the instant gratification that it brought to our Trunk or Treat event. I was able to send Moms and Kids home with a memory of the event. Jackson loved handing out pictures to his friends and I loved the looks on the kids and parents faces when they realized they could take home the memories.
HP Social Media Snapshots paper is available at Staples and is BOGO through October 31, simply click redeem now.
