When I was a little girl I got a personalized book for Christmas. It was a story of Christmas Eve and the adventures that my best friends and I had with Rudolph. It even featured my favorite stuffed animal and toys. I loved this book and made my Mom read it over and over and even made her add my other best friend to the story because I only thought it was fair.
I still have this book, and last year at Christmas, I took it out and read it to Jackson. It brought back so many wonderful memories of my Mom reading it to me on Christmas Eve.
I’ve been wanting to get Jackson a personalized book for some time now and was excited when Mabel’s Labels offered me a chance to receive one of their new personalized books that came out this holiday season.
There are a variety of books to choose from including: Paw Patrol, Cars, Frozen and Barbie, along with My Special Christmas Adventure which is reminiscent of the book I had as a child. I choose the My Adventures in Star Wars A New Hope because at my house this year Star Wars is all anyone wants to talk about.
When I ordered the book I had to include: my son’s name, where we lived (town and street), the names of 3 of his friends, his birthdate and who the book was from (I choose Santa just to keep a bit of my tradition).
When our book arrived, I was excited to see that it is full of colorful scenes straight out of the movie. The book is beautifully put together and weaves Jackson seamlessly into the Star Wars story. I love that it tells the story of Star Wars a New Hope in a way kids can understand, it’s definitely a good introduction into the Star Wars universe. Each page makes mention of Jackson, his friends or where he lives, reinforcing that the story is his adventure too.
I love that a personalized book is not just another book, that it is an immersive story experience and a keepsake that children will remember for years to come. Personalized books are also a great way to get kids interested in reading, little kids love it when a story is being told about them. Books like these are also not the type of gift you will find in stores, so if you have a kid who seems to have everything consider getting them a personalized story book from Mabel’s Labels.
The deadline to order for Christmas with free standard shipping is December 7th. Personalized books can be ordered online at Mabel’s Labels.
I’m looking forward to Jackson unwrapping his book on Christmas morning and my husband can’t wait to start reading it with him.
While I was provided with the book, all thoughts and opinions are always my own.
