I love to travel and we are hoping to take a big trip this year to celebrate 10 years of marriage. A travel gift is one of my favorite gifts to get. I love the idea of travel and products for travel as a gift. Travel is the type of gift that you will remember for the rest of your life. I always remember the trip to Disney Land that my husband gave me after 2 years of dating.
But if travel is not in your budget this holiday season you can still give gifts that the travelers in your life will love.
Travel Gift Ideas
This bag is the perfect size for someone who is on the go. The bag allows you be hands free and keep your most important items (phone, cash, credit cards, passport) near you. You could easily go dancing, horseback riding or tour a new city with this bag by your side. Even as a Mom who tends to carry more stuff than I need I love that this bag fits so closely to your body that way I can have the essentials always on me but leave any of the other stuff that I carry in a larger bag in the stroller or car. The Baliloca travel purse comes in both leather and neoprene. I received this bag in brown leather and I love the quality and style. To see all the ways to wear it, check them out on Instagram.
Portable Battery Back Up Charger for Cell Phone or Tablet
Even when we travel we are still connected these days and most travelers love to share their experiences on social media. One of my pet peeves is running out of battery power when I’m out. Luckily there are now portable batteries that you can easily store in your purse and use when your battery is running low. I used to wonder why anyone would need one of these but as I’ve started to use my phone for more pictures, I’ve definitely almost run out a few times. These are a great gift for the traveler on your list or anyone who has a cell phone.
I once read that just planning a trip or reading about a destination you want to visit, can give you the same happy feeling that you get if you went on the trip. While I’m not 100% sure that’s true, I love the concept and I love reading about places that I want to travel to. If you know that someone is planning a big trip, pick them up a book about the location or better yet a novel that takes place there. When I went to Seattle for my sister-in-law’s wedding, I read a novel that took place in Seattle. During our visit I was able to see and visit a few of the places mentioned in the book, which made for a great experience.
