Sunday Sips

Sunday Sips, sharing what we've been loving since coming home with a newborn.

I haven’t been able to write Sunday Sips in awhile, actually I haven’t been able to write as much as I’ve wanted lately. My head is full of things I want to share but getting them down is not always possible. Last week I was so tired that every time I looked at the computer I just felt sleepy. Luckily John took the night shift on Wednesday and Thursday and I got 2 nights sleep.

The weather has not been agreeable to my lovely, ideas of what having a springtime baby was going to be like. We haven’t gotten outside as much as I had hoped we would and it’s really hard to believe that summer is right around the corner.  Here at the Jersey Shore next weekend brings the unofficial start of summer and we are hoping to get our pool open very soon. This free printable about pool safety is a great resource for anyone who has a pool or has little ones who will be going to a pool.

Farmers markets will soon be opening in my area. I already have plans to take Jackson strawberry picking and I’m looking forward to being able to enjoy all our local farm markets. Not only are the markets a great way to get local produce they are also a learning experience for kids.

One of Those Days because we can all relate to having days like this, especially during this time of year.

Our calendar is already filling up with birthday parties, pool parties and graduations. The summer always seems to take forever to get here and then is over in the blink of an eye. This week I started writing up my summer bucket list, not because I have to do all the things but because if I don’t write it down summer will come and go before I’ve planned anything.

Grace has her 2 month check up this week and I can’t wait to share how much she’s grown and developed. It’s easy to forget how quickly they grow up and it really does seem to happen much faster the second time around.
