Every year I put together a Christmas Kick-off box of books, movies and pajamas that Jack’s elf delivers to him on Thanksgiving night. It’s a fun way to bring in the holiday season. I started doing these boxes because I never understood the point of giving Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve or getting a holiday book for Christmas. I want my kids to get lots of wear out of their Christmas pajamas and I want to spend the holiday season reading Christmas books and watching Christmas movies. So I don’t really see the point in getting these things after the holiday is over.
With nearly a week till Thanksgiving I realized that I hadn’t purchased the items for this years boxes and decided that I needed some new ideas.
