My Five Favorite Ways to DOAC at The Borgata

I remember when The Borgata opened in Atlantic City, I was 22 and everyone who was anyone had to go check out the fancy new casino in town. I spent many nights dancing at The Mixx, singing along to cover bands at The Gypsy Bar and entertainment at The Music Box. A lot can be said about Atlantic City these days but The Borgata still remains a favorite place to play, drink, dine and win.

My Five Favorite Ways to DOAC at The Borgata

Online gaming

Dining at The Borgata

The Borgata is home to some of my favorite casino dining in Atlantic City. There are so many options and you won’t find a bad meal anywhere at Borgata because it’s not your typical casino dining. Instead of Buffetts (though they do have one of the best) think celebrity chefs and meals that you will be talking about the next day. My personal favorites Bobby Flay Steak, which holds the title of the best steak I’ve ever had. My other favorite is the tasting menu at Izakaya.

Dancing at The Borgata

The Borgata has some of the hottest clubs in Atlantic City. In my much younger days I loved dancing at The Mixx. The Mixx’s days are over but club goers can now enjoy the dance scene at Premier Nightclub at Borgata.

Bar Scene

The Borgata is home to my favorite place in Atlantic City to see a cover band and that is The Gypsy Bar. The Gypsy Bar features a wide variety of tequila and delicious margaritas, along with beer, wine and other spirits. They also have a fabulous line up of local cover bands to keep you singing and dancing all night long. The Long Bar and B Bar offer great places to grab a drink and hangout.

Spa

The Borgata is home to one of the best spa’s in Atlantic City. A perfect place for a Mom to spend a day getting pampered. It’s a gorgeous combo of beauty, luxury and relaxation.

Gaming

While my days of running around the casino till dawn are mostly over I can still enjoy the fun of The Borgata with online gaming. Now I don’t have to get dressed up and put heels on if I want to play slot machines or poker. I can simply log onto BorgataCasino.com and play. Creating an account takes just minutes and then you are ready to play. I wasn’t sure that playing slots online would be as much fun as playing at the casino but I actually liked it a lot better. It wasn’t as noisy, I could easily switch games on my computer if I got bored and there was no waiting for someone to finish playing so that you could play your favorite game. There are a variety of games online including a Family Guy game, a Guns n’ Roses game and an Alices Tea Party Game. Playing online is a lot simpler than I imagined and I was quickly able to play a few games while enjoying a glass of wine after dinner. Now you don’t even have to leave home to “DoAC”.

Now you can get $20 when you sign up by using the promo code TryBorgata, add this to the $20 public offer for signing up and that is $40 of free play. Now you can #TRYBORGATA and #DOAC all from the comfort of your home.
