There is a lot of talk about encouraging kids to be interested in science, technology, engineering and math otherwise known as STEM. I always love the idea of toys that encourage learning but I always worry that they won’t be as fun as the loud, noisy, action figure toys that my son is drawn to. Over the summer Jack became very interested in science and we started playing with different toys that promote STEM learning. These toys quickly became the ones that Jack would play with for long periods of time on his own and the ones that he asks to play with again and again.
