You must be 18 or older to buy a lottery ticket. Parents are urged to think twice about gifting lottery tickets to children. The New Jersey Lottery reminds players, it’s only a game…remember to play responsibly. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1800-GAMBER®. There are always a few people on my Christmas shopping list that fall to the bottom. They are the people who I want to get something for but that I’m never sure what to give them. They are usually people who I want to give a gift to thank them for all they do but, who I also don’t have the budget to spend a ton of money on. I often end up putting off giving them gifts because I never know what to get them. This year I’ve decided to go with a small gift that can have a big return for the receiver. NJ Lottery holiday instant games make a great inexpensive gift that might pay-off for your recipients. NJ Lottery has 4 instant games at different price points: $1 Holiday Luck, $2 Holiday Luck Times Ten, $5 Jingle Bills, $10 Cash in a Flash. Lottery tickets can be conveniently purchased at places you already shop at like WaWa, Shop Rite and Joe Canal’s.
People I will be giving the NJ Lottery Holiday instant games to this holiday season.
Neighbors
My neighbors do a lot for us. They take in my trash cans when we are away, pick up our mail and keep us up to date on all the neighborhood gossip. While a card saying thank you might be enough, a NJ lottery holiday scratch off is an inexpensive little extra that shows them how much we appreciate all they do.
Teacher’s Aide and School Support Staff
I regularly struggle with what to get the teacher’s aides at school. Sometimes my son has more than one classroom aide. This year he has a different aide for lunch and one for early drop-off. While these aides aren’t in the classroom full time they are still a part of his school day. Candy, a card and a lottery scratch off for each aide is a great way to say “thank you” without blowing your budget.
Board Members
If you are involved in a local organization, chances are you have board and committee members that you regularly work with. I am the president of my local Moms Club and along with 4 board members, I also work with a bunch of committee leaders who help my club function throughout the year. The cost of getting gifts for everyone can add up quickly. A simple thank you note with a holiday lottery scratch off is an easy way to say “thank you for all your help throughout the year”.
Secret Santa
At my last job, we did a Secret Santa the week before Christmas where every day you left a small gift on your secret Santa’s desk. It was a big office and I didn’t know everyone very well, lottery tickets were a gift that I knew everyone would want and would be fun to scratch and win at work.
NJ Lottery Holiday instant games are inexpensive and convenient gifts that will fit anyone on your holiday list. They make great stocking stuffers and are an easy last minute gift idea. The best part about giving a holiday scratch off is that your recipient could win big, and wouldn’t that be the greatest gift you could give? Even if there ticket isn’t a winner they can enter it the Million Dollar Replay for a second chance at winning.
