As I’m writing this I can’t believe it’s only 2 weeks until Christmas. I went from feeling like I was super organized and running ahead of schedule to feeling like I have so much to do. I love this time of year and I never look back and wish that I didn’t do all the things but it would be nice to have some downtime.
I’m still finishing up my Christmas shopping, some people are just hard to buy for. Though I have picked some gifts that I’m excited to give,which to me is always a sign that it’s a good gift. If you are still stuck for gifts, make sure to check out my gift guides.

I have a cookie swap this week and it’s always a big decision deciding what cookie to make. Sometimes I’m overly ambitious and try something new, this year I’m sticking with this recipe Candy Cane Kiss Cookies, it’s one of my favorites.
Our cookie swap also involves an ugly sweater competition, I think I’m in it to win it this year with this sweater.
