I didn’t get a chance to post about the Stitch Fix that I received right before Christmas and it was a really good one so I wanted to make sure I shared it. Then this past week I got another one and wanted to share that too because I realized they both had a bit of my winter style theme, which is comfortable and cozy clothes.
I told my stylist that I wanted clothes that were comfortable enough that I could sit on the floor and play with my kids. I wanted items that were warm and forgiving, two things I need a lot of this time of year. For both fixes I requested jeans because I have had a really hard time finding jeans that fit since having Grace.
What I Got in my Winter Stitch Fix:
Evolution by Cyrus – Stassi Colorblock Open Cardigan
I had been on the look-out for a colorblock cardigan and the colors on this one were really great together. I loved how warm and cozy it was, but it was also a little too big on me, so I had to send it back.
Market & Spruce – Corinna Brushed Dolman Knit Top
Let’s call this shirt the one that got away. I loved it. It was soft, it had a great fit and it was my favorite color. But I own so much grey and black that I decided I couldn’t justify keeping so I sent it back. Then that night after the post office had whisked my package away, I went to dinner with a friend and she was wearing it, I immediately regretted sending it back.
Just Black – Joey Skinny Jeans
I had a few pairs of Just Black jeans before I had Grace, so I was happy to get a new pair that fits. The stylist called the color teal but it’s more of a muted dark teal and in most cases you can’t really tell they are colored denim. These are comfortable and flattering and go with way more than I thought they would.
Pistola – Livca Cuffed Cropped Skinny Jean
I’m not big fan of black jeans but when I tried these on I quickly changed my opinion. They don’t look at all like the black jeans that were in style years ago. These are stretchy, a little faded and very flattering. I’ve worn them so many more times than I thought I would.
Laila Jayde – Bowie Solid Dolman Sleeve Top
I love the color of this sweater and that it has a flattering neckline without being tight. It’s also very forgiving in the stomach area which has made this top by go-to for date nights and even Christmas Eve brunch. It’s really lightweight too so I’ll be able to wear it in the spring too.
Bobeau – Grady Waffle Texture Cardigan
This cardigan is so soft, light and cozy that I couldn’t resist it. The wine color is a fun change for me since I tend to wear lots of black, white and grey.
Skies Are Blue -Avena Split Neck Top
I have gotten a few plaid tops from Stitch Fix, probably because I have pinned to many. The neckline on this one had great details but the sleeves were too long for me, thought I did love how it looked with the cardigan.
Toms Classic Slip On in Navy
I love Toms, and I own a few pairs. These were right up my alley but they were too big and I couldn’t justify buying another pair of Toms.
Lila Ryan – Liza Skinny Jean
Stitch Fix almost always finds me the perfect pair of jeans and these were a great fit. I loved the color and that they had some stretch to them. I was in desperate need of jeans and these arrived at the perfect time.
Loveappella – Dawnty Pullover Hooded Knit Top
I really wanted to love this because it’s my favorite color but it was a bit snug and the teal trim reminded me of kids clothes.
