This season overall fell a little flat for me. There was a lot of focus on silly contestants (Waboom) and on Lee and Kenny and not nearly as much on Rachel and the guys she was actually interested in. I pretty much knew from day 1 that she was going to pick Bryan because the chemistry just seemed to be there.
I know a lot of people don’t like Bryan, but I always liked him. But then came the finale and the Peter break-up and I was left feeling like maybe I was wrong, maybe she should have taken a chance on Peter. Their break-up was the most dramatic part of the whole season. So much so that I didn’t care all that much about Bryan’s proposal, even though I do like them together.
The way the finale aired with Rachel watching it live, really bothered me. I hated that after 2 hours we still hadn’t seen the proposal and I hated that she had a sit-down interview with Peter before they aired Bryan’s proposal. I felt like seeing her with Peter before airing the proposal took all the wind out of the sails if you know what I mean.
I think ABC really needs to evaluate how they do these shows going forward. They need to keep the rose ceremony at the end, the show is jarring without a formal ending to the episode. They need to cut back on the really silly group dates, it’s not entertaining and it rarely helps me get to know the contestants and they need to do away with 3 hours of the finale, don’t bore your audience.

Sadly there is no fantasy league for Bachelor in Paradise. Though if you are in our facebook group Wine In Bachelor we will still be chatting all things Bachelor in the group. We will be back with the fantasy league when The Bachelor returns in January 2018, and it’s anyone’s guess who the next Bachelor is.
