By this point in the summer, I am always ready for fall. I’m ready for a break from the heat and humidity. I’m ready to pack my bathing suit and shorts away. I’m ready to pull on my boots and hoodies and sip on a pumpkin spice latte. Call it basic, I don’t care.
Fall clothes are my favorite and I always like to have a nice mix of comfortable clothes for fall. Here are some of my fall staples and everything pairs well with leggings.
Fall Fashion for Moms Who Live In Leggings
Leggings / Sweatpants
If you wear leggings more than once a week like I do, then you should invest in a good pair. I’m obsessed with these leggings and they are worth every penny. One good pair will last longer than a dozen cheap ones. Get them in basic black, with sheer panels, or in a fun color.
These sweatpants are my fall go-to.
T-Shirts
I’m always a sucker for a good T-shirt. I love to find the perfect one and buy it in every color. This one has been on rotation in my closet and it pairs perfectly with leggings.
Graphic Tees
When I want to go beyond a plain tee, I tend to go for a graphic tee over a pattern. This graphic tee from Target is my current favorite. I also love this one and this one. I’m tempted to splurge on this tee and I know a few people that this one is perfect for.
Button-Up Shirts
Every fall I get a new one of these. It pairs well with jeans or plain black leggings or you can throw it on with a dress or a maxi skirt.
I can never have too many plaid button-up shirts. I love them with jeans and boots all fall long.
Light-Weight Pullovers
Around here it can be cold one minute and hot the next. I love lightweight pullovers that won’t leave me sweating on the soccer field. I’m obsessed with this one. And I love the v-neck and price on this one. I love the length on this one and this one is great if you can pull off the off-the-shoulder look, which I can’t.
Hoodies
The ultimate sign of fall. I love this one. I tend to get one of these every fall, it’s great for throwing on for school drop-off. I kinda love that this is back in style, reminds me of the late 90’s.
Shoes
While I love boots, fall tends to be about the casual sneaker for me. I just got these and I love them, totally of-the-moment rose gold look. You can’t go wrong with this classic or this spin on it. I always have a pair of these in my closet.
Jeans
Because sometimes you have to put real pants on.
I currently have one brand of jeans I’m in love with, not only are they comfortable but the price is incredible. I tend to spend a little more on denim but these jeans feel like I paid way more than I did.
