What you Missed on Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 week 1

Almost Paradise…I’m so happy that Bachelor in Paradise is back and that it was on for 2 nights this week. For me Bachelor in Paradise is the most dramatic thing to come out of the Bachelor since Jason Mesnick ugly cried over a balcony. Bachelor in Paradise brings back so many of the people I love from past seasons of the Bachelor / Bachelorette and my favorite people that I love to hate.

This was the season that almost wasn’t but I’m so glad that Bachelor in Paradise is back. And both nights brought the love and the drama.

What You Missed on Bachelor In Paradise Season 4 Week 1

Robby’s Wardrobe

I’m not a Robby fan but when he lamented missing his wingtips and dress clothes and showed off his many patterned bathing suits I became even less of a fan. And can someone please make him change his haircut.

People I Don’t Recognize

Lacey who? Nick who?

Matt!

Why didn’t Matt get more screen time last season, he’s kind of adorable and funny.

 

Abrupt Ending

One moment we were about to have a rose ceremony and the next we weren’t. I knew going in they weren’t going to show the DeMario / Corrinne footage but I wish they had said something before cutting the episode off

Carly and Evan

I’ve always been a Carly fan, so I was happy to see her happy… though I still don’t get what she see’s in Evan. And who doesn’t love another Bachelor wedding and a baby on the way!

The Return of Paradise

When the show resumed we got a discussion and lecture from Chris Harrison on race and consent. Almost as awkward as the sex-ed videos they show in schools.

Kristina and Dean

Oh, I really want you two to be a thing and while it seems it won’t last I’m crossing my fingers.

Derek and Taylor

I love Taylor so if Derek makes her happy then get it, girl.

Short People…

As a fellow short person, I totally felt for Alex with all the short jokes, though seriously I always had a rule that I only dated tall guys….

Breakups Come Early

We haven’t even had a rose ceremony yet and couples are already falling apart. Come on people keep it together for a day.

Bachelor in Paradise has been a rollercoaster ride so far and it hasn’t even started. I can’t wait to see what happens this summer and I’m rooting for someone to find love. Can it be Wells the new bartender in Paradise?
