5 Things that take me to my happy place.
1). A good book. No matter where I’m at, if I have a good book I’m happy.
2). Shopping with my mom. Before Jack this was a weekly event. Now time with just my mom is a rare thing, so I appreciate it even more.
3). Wine. A glass of wine, cheese and some good company and I’m a happy gal. Sometimes I’ll trade the good company for a good book and in a jam I’ll just take the wine.
4). Soap Opera’s. Whether it was One Life to Live and All My Children or the prime time soaps like Grey’s Anatomy, The OC or Desperate Housewives, god I love a good soapy drama. Nothing calms the constant chatter in my head like tuning into someone else’s drama. It should come as no shock to me that my days have felt a little longer since the cancellation of my beloved daytime dramas. But every day at 2pm I still feel like something is missing.
5). Quality time with my boys. A day at the park or the zoo as long as we are all together it doesn’t matter.

6). Teavana Tea.
7). All things Disney. Even the commercials make me all nostalgic for my childhood and excited to go back.
8). The beach.
9). Taking pictures
10). The perfect outfit
