This morning I found myself watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse long after Jackson had been dropped off to preschool.
I don’t know about the rest of you but Mickey Mouse Club House is a constant in our home. And it is the only thing that Jack will watch. No Sesame Street (which I love), no Sid the Science kid, not even the ever annoying Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Just Mickey all the time.
Don’t get me wrong I love the mouse but one can only hot dog dance so many times without wanting to send that Mouse back to Orlando.
So here are some ways my life is like an episode of Mickey Mouse Club House
1). I am clearly, like Mickey, the leader of an unruly gang who my intelligence is superior to.
2). I have my own set of Mouskatools. They consist of red wine, chocolate, caffeinated beverages and cupcakes.
3). Approximately every 20 minutes I put on a song and dance in order to distract the masses.
4). I live with my own versions of Goofy and Pluto.
5). I often ask questions, pause for an answer and when no one supplies the one I want I answer my own question and move on.

After I read Kristen's comment the song was stuck in my head too. Come to think of it that song is always somewhere in my head.
I feel like my life is totally a cartoon and right now I have 74 episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on my DVR and Gia tortures me by crying, "Not this one…the one with the____" and I have to sift through the 74 to find what she wants. And when I think I am one step ahead and I flag that episode, she never wants to watch it again. Good times.
We really are on the same page! I think I have 72 on my DVR and it's always, "I can't like this one" or "I watch Crystal Mickey"
I love this, especially your list of Mouskatools. My son also loves Mickey Mouse but, thankfully, he watches other shows too. I end up watching kids' shows long after my son is in school too! Every time I catch myself doing it, I have to wonder what has gotten into me.

Aw as he gets older he will do the dance more and more. Jackson still calls me to do the hot dog dance with him.
