My neighbor has done an Easter morning brunch and egg hunt for as long as I can remember. Usually somewhere between egg dying and planning the brunch we get talking about how Easter is a lot of work but unlike Christmas there is no present waiting for us in the morning. It has become a running joke that as moms we should start exchanging Easter baskets filled with all things Moms enjoy like wine and chocolate. And while I do know a few couples that exchange Easter baskets or candy for Easter, wouldn’t it be fun to put together an Easter basket for Moms something that you can share and sip while the kids run around in search of colored eggs and argue over who got more.
This cute Easter basket makes a great gift for a mom friend or a fun hostess gift for any of your Easter festivities. And really any holiday is a great excuse to give your friends some good chocolate and a bottle of wine.

Here are some goodies to fill your Easter Basket hostess gift.
Frey Chocolate Easter Bunny – you definitely won’t be sharing these delicious chocolate bunnies with the kids.
Wine – I suggest a good white wine or a rose.
Adult Coloring Book and Crayola Colored Pencils – a great way to relax after the hostess job is done.
Wine Glasses– bonus points if they are filled with chocolate
Coffee– because there is a good chance the kids were up early
Why let the kids have all the fun this spring? And wouldn’t you be the coolest friend ever to show up at Easter brunch or dinner with one of these whimsical Easter baskets? After all being invited to a friends house for a holiday is an honor and they likely did a lot of work the night before to make the day special, so make their day special with this fun Easter hostess gift.
